Italian Legislative Decree No. 231/2001: a model for mandatory Human Rights Due Diligence legislation?
It is now available the Report on the Italian Legislative Decree No. 231/2001, aimed at clarifying the scope of application, the sanctions and the case law of this piece of legislation in the perspective of contributing to the current debate on mandatory Human Riughts Due Diligence and to further legislative developments by other European and non-European States.
It is a joint report realised together with FIDH (International Federation for Human Rights) and authored by Francesca Cucchiara, Maddalena Neglia and Giacomo Cremonesi in collaboration with the International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH) and with the support of Bread for the World and ECCJ. An Italian version of the Report will be soon available.
